Recently I was invited to speak at a special event organised by the Epping Chamber of Commerce titled ‘Epping: Today & Tomorrow’.
It was good to meet with local businesses, community groups and Parramatta Councillors to discuss the future of Epping. Epping is already one of the best places in the world to live, work, raise a family, and run a business, but I believe it has potential to be even better.
It is a place for ordinary Australian families to enjoy a great quality of life and to get ahead. But equally, it is perfectly placed for a future filled with opportunities for more businesses to thrive and new local opportunities to be created.
There is still more to be done in supporting local business but grassroots organisations such as the Epping Chamber of Commerce play an important part in that, and a resource for government as a representative organisation.
