Bus changes to improve North West commuter journeys

28 Oct 2019

Commuters across Sydney’s north west will soon benefit from an increase in bus services and better connections with the Metro train network.

Transport for NSW will be implementing new changes to the North West Sydney Bus Network on 17 November 2019 following community feedback and analysis of Opal card travel data in order to ensure the bus network is meeting the demands of the community.

Member for Epping Dominic Perrottet welcomed the changes which will result in improved travel times for commuters and improve connectivity between Cherrybrook Metro Station and the surrounding area.

“Transport for NSW has listened to community feedback and I believe these changes will make a positive difference to people’s lives,” Mr Perrottet said.

“These changes are aimed at creating an integrated public transport network to help people move easily around Epping with more than 600 additional weekly services now running to-and-from Metro stations.

“I am committed to ensuring people in Epping enjoy the best access to public transport and these changes are an excellent step in the right direction.

“I would like to thank everyone who has contacted me regarding this matter and I want to reassure people I will continue fighting for the restoration of the 621 service.

Commuters will be able to view the changes to routes and services so they can plan their journeys ahead of time from 3 November 2019 by visiting:
