The NSW Government has awarded eight Hawkesbury community and family service providers contract extensions worth nearly $1 million, local Member for Hawkesbury Dominic Perrottet announced today.
“This critical funding will provide certainty for Hawkesbury community partners and help them continue their important work providing case management, parenting programs, and domestic violence support,” said Mr Perrottet.
These services work with clients before they reach crisis points in their lives and help them avoid the need for involvement by the statutory child protection system.
The NSW Department of Family and Community Services (FACS) is working closely with local service providers across the state to improve existing services and design new services for children, families, and communities with the greatest need.
