Members of the community are invited to provide feedback on a proposal to carry out night work on Putty Road at Wilberforce.
Member for Hawkesbury Dominic Perrottet said the NSW Government would fund the $900,000 maintenance program on Putty Road between King Road and Morilla Road at Wilberforce.
“Putty Road is a key link between the northern suburbs of Sydney and the Hunter region,” said Mr Perrottet.
“Essential maintenance work will include the removal and replacement of asphalt to provide a stronger, longer lasting and safer road.
“To minimise the impact on motorists, work will be carried out five nights a week for a four week period or two nights a week for a 32 week period.
“For both proposals, work hours will be from 8pm to 5am with noisier work completed before 11pm.”
