The bush fires have caused untold devastation across NSW. This week I had the opportunity to speak in Parliament about the impact on so many people across our State and also to honour the work and efforts of our firefighters, volunteers, emergency services workers and their families.
I join with the Premier – my community in Epping – and every member in the NSW Parliament – in expressing my sorrow, and my deep condolences to the families and friends of the 25 men and women who lost their lives in the fires this summer.
We stand with you. We will support you in your grief. You, and the precious loved-ones you have lost, are forever in our prayers – and will not be forgotten.
