Community members are invited to provide feedback on proposed night work for the Old Northern Road at Wisemans Ferry.
Member for Hawkesbury Dominic Perrottet said the NSW Government is funding the essential maintenance work between River Road and 1.3 kilometres south of River Road.
“The work will include removing and replacing sections of asphalt on the Old Northern Road approaching Wisemans Ferry to improve safety for motorists and strengthen the road,” Mr Perrottet said.
“To minimise the impact on motorists Roads and Maritime Services proposes to carry out the asphalting for five nights per week during a fortnight or two nights per week during five weeks.
“For both proposals work would be carried out from 8pm to 5am with noisier work completed by 12am each night.”
